I just discovered local food blog Metrocurean. According to this and Warren Brown's blog, Cake Love will be opening this spring in Shirlington! I am so excited, even though this will mean every other bakery in the area will probably go out of business. Here's what's going on this manic-depressive rainy long weekend. Tonight: ordering in Chinese and watching a movie. Tomorrow: funeral in PA for a friend of Jeffro. It's very sad, he was very young and is leaving behind a 6-year-old child. Sunday: dinner at Carlyle, my favorite restaurant, with a friend. Monday I hope to go shopping and use some gift cards I got for Christmas.
