John Hughes, my favorite 80s filmmaker, died today. My favorite movie of all time is Sixteen Candles, but Ferris Bueller is a pretty close second. This has been a very sad year for celebrity deaths. RIP, John.

John Hughes really did define the 80's. My favorite move is The Breakfast Club followed by Sixten Candles.
